Apply to every image

Each photo is sent to GPT Image 2.5 Flare via Vercel AI Gateway to find the cut-out, one after another.

Queue 0/20

Your queue is empty. Add product shots, headshots or pet photos; each is sent to the AI Gateway to find the cut-out and isn't stored afterwards.

Settings that make a catalogue look consistent

Marketplaces and shop themes look best when every product fills the frame the same way. Turn on Crop to subject and Square canvas, then set a margin: the product is centred with the same breathing room in every image, whatever its shape. For Amazon's main image rule (pure white, product filling most of the frame) choose White, 2000 px and a margin around 5–8%. Details are on the white background page.

Tips for faster, cleaner batches

  • Shoot against a plain, contrasting backdrop. The AI doesn't need it, but it gets cleaner edges when the product and background differ in colour.
  • Keep the tab open. Each photo is sent to the AI Gateway in turn, so closing the tab stops the batch partway through.
  • Use PNG or WebP if you'll place the cut-outs on other backgrounds later; use JPG on white for direct upload.

Questions people ask

How many images can I process at once?

Up to 20 per batch. When the batch is done, download the ZIP or save the results to your Vault, clear the queue and start the next 20.

How long does a batch of 20 take?

Each photo is sent to the AI Gateway one after another and typically comes back in 10–20 seconds, so a full batch takes a few minutes. Keep the tab open while it runs.

Do all images get the same settings?

Yes: background (transparent, white or a colour), crop to subject, square canvas, margin, output size and format apply to every image. Change a setting and press "Re-run with new settings" to redo the batch.

Is there a cost per image?

No, it is free to use, within a fair-use hourly limit, since each cut-out is a real AI Gateway call. Your photos are sent to the model to find the cut-out and are not stored by BGVault.

What if one photo comes out wrong?

Download the rest, then open that single photo in the main background remover, where you can switch models and fix the edge with the refine brush.
